In the heart of the Pyrenees National Park, Luz-Saint-Sauveur sits perfectly placed in one of the most beautiful valleys of the Hautes-Pyrenees and it is here that you will find the Domaine du Val de Roland.

The Domaine du Val de Roland is located just 500m from the heart of the traditional and charming village of Luz Saint Sauveur and offers stylish and spacious self-catered apartments with a terrace, garden or balcony.  Many of the apartments offer stunning mountain views with the Solferino chapel sitting steadfast on the hill. In fact, the village’s skyline is one of the most dramatic you could hope for – just look up above the old slate roofs and you will see the snow capped pointed peaks that surround the valley.

The accommodation provides great access to the ski resorts of Luz Ardiden, Gavarnie, Cauterets and Barèges/La Mongie (Grand Tourmalet - the largest resort in the French Pyrenees). A free ski shuttle bus takes you directly to the slopes of Luz Ardiden which is a short and pleasant drive away. And after a day on the slopes, why not relax in the sauna or steam room or take a refreshing dip in the heated indoor/outdoor pool while admiring the mountain views.

If it is true pampering that you want after a hard day skiing then the thermal baths of Luzéa will give you the care and relaxation you desire.

All the apartments at Val de Roland in Luz Saint Sauveur are stylish and spacious and furnished to a good standard of comfort and convenience. They all have a well equipped kitchen area with 4-ring ceramic hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave/grill, electric coffee-maker, kettle and toaster. All apartments have a private ski locker (located on the ground floor, cable TV, and a bathroom with bath tub and shower attachment.

Classic 1 bedroom apartment with alcove sleeping 5 (ca. 33m2): Open plan living/dining area with double pull-out sofa bed, alcove with a single bed, 1 bedroom with a double bed, bathroom & separate WC. Balcony or terrace.

Comfort 1 bedroom apartment with alcove sleeping 6 (ca. 38m2): Open plan living/dining area with double pull-out sofa bed, alcove with bunk beds, 1 bedroom with a double bed, bathroom & separate WC. Balcony or terrace.

2 bedroom Duplex apartment sleeping 8 (ca. 48m2): Open plan living/dining area with double pull-out sofa bed, alcove with bunk beds OR a single bed, bathroom, separate WC. Upstairs: 1 bedroom with a double bed, bedroom with 2 or 3 single beds, shower room & WC. Balcony or terrace.

Please note: for any apartments that feature bunk beds, sleeping in the top bunk is not recommended for children under the age of 6 years old and not for children over 14.

Local Tourist Tax: €0.80/person 18yrs+/day (guide price).

Pets

Only one pet per apartment is allowed. A valid passport for your pet is compulsory.

Loan of extras

Cots, highchairs (request at time of booking, 1 cot & 1 highchair max per apartment), bottle warmers, socket guards, raclette and fondue sets, board games and electrical adaptors (all subject to availability).

Reception opening times

08.00 - 12.30 & 16.00 - 19.00.
 

Arrival times are daily from 16:00 - 19:00 and departure times are daily before 10:00.
