Le Pedrou in the centre of the authentic Catalan Pyrenean village is built on a hillside overlooking the stunning Pyrenean mountain chain of France and nearby Spain and the Cerdagne region. It has a prime location just 350m from the cable car which means quick and easy access to all the amenities of Font Romeu.

The typically Catalan town of Font Romeu is a pleasant village in which to stroll and enjoy the many tea shops, restaurants and bars with a great array of French, Catalan and Spanish cuisine and wines on offer.

This medium size residence was refurbished in 2006 and offers a traditional mountain style feel with plenty of wood furnishings and cosy duvets for those cool winter nights. The apartments are spread over one buildings with 5 floors – all of which are served by a lift and covered internal walkways.

Facilities at Le Pedrou include a communal reception/lounge, launderette (payable), lockers and Wi-Fi internet access in the reception area and all apartments (payable). There is also external (free) parking and underground (payable) parking. Baby items, electrical gadgets and games can also be rented and loaned (see below).

The pretty village of Font Romeu is a small and lively family resort in the heart of the Catalan Pyrenees. Above the resort, the area of Font Romeu Pyrenees is located in the heart of the Natural Regional Park of the eastern Catalan Pyrenees at a height of 1800m.

Font Romeu village with its gentle slopes and resort family focus is great for families. However, its natural warm springs and the nearby 'Heliodyssée' solar complex make it ideal for those looking for a complete Catalonian-Pyrenean experience.

The cosy and comfortable self-catering apartments are furnished to a good standard and include bed linen and towels. They all have a fully equipped kitchenette with ceramic hob, microwave/grill, fridge, dishwasher, electric coffee maker and toaster. Small ovens are available on loan at reception and apartments have a balcony or terrace.

Studio sleeping 2 (ca. 25m2): Open plan living/dining area with double sofa bed, bath or shower room with WC. Balcony or terrace.

Studio Alcove sleeping 4 (ca. 25m2): Open plan living/dining area with double sofa bed, alcove with bunk beds, bath or shower room with WC. Balcony or terrace.

1 Bedroom Apartment sleeping 5 (ca. 30m2): Open plan living/dining area with sofa bed (converts to 2 single beds), 1 bedroom with a three single beds, bath or shower room & separate WC. Balcony or terrace.

1 Bedroom Alcove/Mezzanine Apartment sleeping 6 (ca. 35m2): Open plan living/dining area sofa bed (converts to 2 single beds), 1 double bedroom, mezzanine and/or alcove with bunk beds or single beds, bathroom & separate WC. May be Split level. Balcony or terrace.

1 Bedroom Duplex Apartment with Alcove sleeping 6 (ca. 56m2): Open plan living/dining area sofa bed (converts to 2 single beds), double bedroom, alcove with bunk beds, bathroom & separate WC and extra shower room. Either extra twin bedroom or a mezzanine with a single bed and extra single sofa bed. Balcony or terrace.

Please note: for any apartments at Le Pedrou in Font Romeu that feature bunk beds, sleeping in the top bunk is not recommended for children under the age of 6 years old.

Price includes

Accommodation, all taxes and charges (except tourist tax - see payable local below), 1 television, sheets, bathroom linen, 1 cleaning kit all left in the apartment. The end of the stay cleaning (except the kitchen area and the washing up).

Pets

Pets are allowed and will be charged €55/week (payable locally). A valid passport for your pet is compulsory.

Loan of extras

The loan of small ovens, iron & ironing boards, bed guards, socket guards, bed safety rail, hairdryer, Play stations (deposit required) and board games is also available (all subject to availability) and free of charge.

Saturday: 08:00 - 12:00 & 14:00 – 20:00

Arrival day at Le Pedrou is Saturday (unless otherwise stated) 17:00 - 20:00 and Departure by 10:00.
