Les Chalets d’Ax is a beautifully modern residence located in Ax les Thermes. Set in an idyllic setting just on the outskirts of town, this haven of contemporary and chic apartments is both peaceful and welcoming. The surrounding woods and mountains make for beautiful views from the balcony or terrace of the apartments.

A short walk along the river brings you to the centre of the famous spa town with its thermal spas and the Bonascre Gondola that whisks you up the Bonascre plateau. It is here that you access to the Ax 3 Domaines, which takes its name from the three areas that make up the area. The resort is also accessed by the cable car or mountain road which both connect the spa town to the mountain area.

Les Chalets d’Ax is a medium size residence with just 78 bright and modern apartments in two buildings spread over three floors. Built in 2010, the residence’s elegant interior design marries the light wood and stone features to create a warm and welcoming feel.

The reception area with its minimalist fireplace and cow skin sofas is a welcoming space with a relaxing TV area, free Wi-Fi access, an info point and a hot and cold drink vending machine. There are also a selection of breakfast essentials and cleaning kits available at reception (payable).

There is free access to a large indoor Jacuzzi and a small fitness area room (treadmill, rowing machine and exercise bike) which means a relaxing soak for your legs after a long day on the hills or a workout.

There is also a relaxation area (payable and upon reservation) which includes a sauna and steam room. If you need some extra pampering then why not head down to one of the thermal spas with their naturally warm spring water that the town is renowned for? Or for some gourmet wining and dining try one of the great restaurants or a trip to the famous Baroque casino – a long standing feature with its cocktails on the terrace at the weekends.

The self-catering apartments and chalets at Les Chalets d’Ax in Ax les Thermes are modern and bright and fitted and furnished to a very high standard. They all have a fully equipped kitchenette with a 2-4 ring ceramic hob, microwave, small fridge, dishwasher, electric coffee-maker, kettle and a toaster. There is a flat screen TV and Raclette and fondue sets are available for rent (on request, subject to availability).

2 Bedroom Duplex Apartment sleeping 6 (ca. 42m2): Open plan living/dining area with double sofa bed, bath or shower room with WC. Upstairs: 2 double bedroom. Balcony or terrace.

2 Bedroom Alcove Duplex Apartment sleeping 8 (ca. 55m2): Open plan living/dining area with double sofa bed, bathroom with WC and an alcove with bunk beds. Upstairs: 1 double bedroom and 1 bedroom with bunk beds and a shower room with WC. Balcony or terrace.

Please note: for any apartments/chalets at Les Chalets d’Ax in Ax les Thermes that feature bunk beds, sleeping in the top bunk is not recommended for children under the age of 6 years old.

Pets

Pets are allowed and will be charged €40/week (payable locally). A valid passport for your pet is compulsory. Maximum of 2 pets per apartment. 

Loan of extras

The loan of board games, iron & ironing board and raclette/fondue sets is also possible (all subject to availability).

Sunday – Friday: 08:00 – 12:00 & 17:00 – 20:00
Saturday: 08:00 – 12:00 & 16:00 – 20:00

Arrival day at Les Chalets d’Ax is Saturday (unless otherwise stated) 16:00 - 20:00 and Departure between 8:00 - 10:00.
